About


Objective: To provide an opportunity for individuals with developmental challenges to participate in the game of hockey when ineligible or unable to participate in an existing program due to his or her ability.

 

Goals: To enhance the players' gross motor and social skills, confidence and ability to play the game.

 

Eligibility: Any gender,skating ability and age 6+. Skating and hockey skills come with practice...... LOTS of practice!

 

Support: Beyond the players, the heart of the Durham Dragons is the core of volunteers who coach, timekeep, referee, organize, supervise and fundraise to successfully run the organization year after year
